Senator Obama Believes That Communists Share!

"Barack Obama accused Republican rival John McCain on Wednesday of stooping to low tactics by labeling the Democrat a socialist. "I don't know what's next," Obama, the presidential candidate, said at an outdoor rally in North Carolina. "By the end of the week, he'll be accusing me of being a secret communist because I shared my toys in kindergarten. I shared my peanut butter and jelly sandwich."---AP (10-29-08)

The "joke" Senator Obama told yesterday promotes the myth that communists believe in sharing! Actually, communists believe in stealing and killing; they just call it "sharing" to fool people.

For example, on 10-20-81, communist Weather Underground members and other radicals robbed a Brinks' truck at the Nanuet Mall in Nanuet NY (near New York City) and stole people's money. They also murdered a Brinks guard named Peter Paige and two policemen, Edward O'Grady and Waverly Brown. A Brinks guard named Joe Trombino survived until he was killed on 9-11.

Were those communists sharing? It seems to me that they were helping themselves. Was the Weather Underground terrorist Bernardine Dohrn sharing when she stole the identities of young mothers shopping at "Broadway Baby," the store she managed while she was in hiding from law enforcement? According to an AP article titled "Phony Drivers' Licenses Traced to Defunct Child's Wear Shop" (2-16-82):

A defunct children's wear store where former Weather Underground leader Bernardine Dohrn once worked has figured in the investigation of the botched $1.6 million Brink's robbery. Police declined to say Tuesday what role was played by the store, which was named Broadway Baby. But The New York Times said the Upper West side store was the place where, in December 1979, two women paid for purchases by check and gave their drivers' licenses numbers as identification. Impostors then used the innocent women's names and numbers to obtain duplicate driver's licenses on the pretext that they had been lost. The duplicates served as identification for renting vans used in an aborted armored-car holdup in Greenburgh, N.Y., and in a successful $500,000 armored-car heist in Inwood, The Times said. The FBI, which has been speaking for the joint FBI-New York police task force investigating the $1.6 million Brink's holdup last October, in which two policemen and a guard were slain, declined to comment on the Times report.

According to an article titled "Barack Obama's Close Encounter with the Weather Underground" (10-27-08), Senator Obama was a student at Columbia in October 1981 when that robbery occurred; so he undoubtedly heard that the communist Weather Underground bank robbers and other radicals didn't share: they stole from the people and murdered a Brinks guard and two policemen.

Senator Obama was not in kindergarten in 1982 when "his neighbor" Bill Ayers' wife Bernardine Dohrn went to jail for refusing to testify against Susan Rosenberg about her involvement in the 10-20-81 Brinks robbery. According to the New York Times (2-10-85), in 1982 Dohrn "spent seven months in jail for refusing to cooperate with a grand jury investigating the 1981 Brink's robbery and murders."

Senator Obama ridicules Senator McCain for labelling him a socialist; but perhaps Senator McCain has read Senator Obama's book Dreams from My Father, which he wrote long after he finished kindergarten:

To avoid being mistaken for a sellout [during college], I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets. We smoked cigarettes and wore leather jackets. At night, in the dorms, we discussed neocolonialism, Franz Fanon, Eurocentrism and patriarchy.

To hear an mp3 audio clip of Obama himself speaking this passage about his Marxist friends, simply click here (right-click or control-click to to download the mp3).

"Franz" Fanon is actually Frantz Fanon, a 20th century psychiatrist and communist philosopher who is seen as the patron saint of Third World revolutionaries. And I think we can be quite sure Obama wasn't attacking Fanon and praising Eurocentrism; if you're even using words like "neocolonialism" and "patriarchy," it's obvious where your sympathies lie.

Perhaps Senator McCain wonders if Senator Obama is a socialist because, as Zombietime (10-27-08) notes:

...[T]he first political speech [Barack Obama] ever gave, was to a group at Occidental associated with the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) -- which itself had been the precursor to the Weather Undergound. (And this article also traces Obama's continued SDS connections, including a 2002 speech he gave at a rally organized by SDS veterans.) So, we know beyond any doubt that Obama was into Marxism and other far-left ideologies...
