Ward Churchill Mocks 9-11 Victims at Mid-Atlantic Radical Book Fair and Grant Crowell Gets the Story

The text of the press release reported:
Churchill blurted out a joke regarding what he perceived as the hilarity over how passengers on the 9/11 flights were "easily" hijacked by terrorists and flown into the World Trade Center.
"You do remember, the incident which the terrorists overpowered the stewardess on the aircraft and tweezed her eyebrows with his tweezers, until she screamingly submitted to fly the plane into a building remember that one?" Joked Churchill. "Tweezers… tweezed into submission."
A smattering of nervous laughter followed, but at least one person in the audience was left with an entirely different reaction.
"I was disgusted by that statement," said Peter Fotopoulos, an attendee from Churchill’s home state of Colorado. "It shows all that talk he made about mourning the suffering and deaths of Iraqi Children – that was the excuse he has given all along for his statement. Yet here he’s actually laughing about the mass murder of American citizens, including children, on those hijacked planes. Since when does any humanitarian do that – laugh about people being murdered? It was absolutely disgusting of him to do that. I had a friend who was killed in the World Trade Center. Ward’s exploited not just my friend’s death but now the murder of the flight’s passengers; he’s been laughing all the way to the bank."
"Maybe what we’re seeing is Churchill finally speaking his mind unfiltered, and it’s not a pretty picture," said Grant Crowell, a producer with the documentary film company Walking Eagle Productions (WEP), who attended of Churchill’s speaking event. "It’s a radical departure from his own writings, which may now come across as just feigned humanitarian outrage, especially when he shifts towards mocking murdered American citizens, including children."
Ward Churchill certainly gets a lot of pleasure from denigrating murder victims.
Mr. Crowell does great reporting, but I would have to say that Churchill has mocked murdered children before, so this is not a "shift" or a "radical departure."
Here is an example of how Churchill has joked in the past about dead children:
"Every yuppie born counts as much as another seventy Chinese...Lay that one on the next soccer mom who approaches you with a baby stroller and an outraged look, demanding that you to put your cigarette out, eh? It is plainly absurd for any American to complain about smoking when you consider the context of the damage done by overall U.S. consumption patterns. Tell ’em you’ll put the butt out when they snuff the kid and not a moment before. Better yet, tell ’em they should snuff themselves, as well as the kid, and do the planet a real favor. I never made the comment attibuted to me by Grant (the liar) Crowell.
It is a complete, total fabrication, and Crowell has no audio to back up his shameful lie.
I angrily demanded that Crowell remove the "quote" from any of his pseudo-journalistic websites, and have been trying to get it deleted from every other site it pops up on.
I was not an "atendee" at this event; I was PAID by Grant (the liar) Crowell to come out and videotape Churchill and the REAL attendees.
Crowell is a pathological liar. When he ran out of money to pay me for helping produce his epic Churchill/free speech documentary, he gave me an obsolete, $300-market-value, cassette tape format camcorder. He now claims I stole it from him, labeling and libeling me as "a petty thief."
In reality-world, a place Crowell is sadly removed from, the camcorder was stolen from ME after I returned from the hospital following surgery and, while under the influence of heavy pain killers, left it outside my front door.
I still have two accessory lenses, the A/C adaptor, fresh tapes, the remote control, and multiple connecting cables connecting cables. Grant The Liar is welcome to them if he'll pay to have them shipped.
Belive NOTHING this man says or writes. He has absolutely ZERO credibility as a journalist, and is a dishonest, hypocritical coward.
There are plenty of reasons to despise Ward Churchill, and none to make up lies about him or anyone else associated with this scum-of-the-earth, lying, hypocritical, fake Indian hate-monger.

It's unfortunately that Mr. Fotopolous has chosen this medium to behave so poorly, but I will be glad to clear the record.
Yes, that is clearly marked from a press release I created on the event. Mr. Fotopolous was the individual who reached out to me to volunteer to record this event, along with tag along on my documentary video footage and interviews while in Colorado. He promised to return the camera to me after he asked if would lend it to him. Unfortunately he chose to reneg on that. Mr. Fotopolous was never paid by me for anything, other than reimbursement for his expenses. Mr. Fotopolous did in fact make that comment, which he is now upset about and holds a grudge.
Complaining that the camcorder he stole was later stolen from him? That shows karma's a bitch.
