Did Edward Snowden Board a Plane Bound for Bolivia?

PRISM Leaker Edward Snowden Fired
New Zealand's One News carries a story titled "Bolivian president's plane diverted over Snowden suspicions" (7-3-13):

A plane carrying Bolivian president Evo Morales has been diverted over suspicions US intelligence leaker Edward Snowden in on board the aircraft.

Bolivian officials say Morales' presidential plane has been forced to make an unscheduled stop-over in Vienna, Austria, after it was denied airspace over France and Portugal.

The aircraft was en route from Russia to Bolivia at the time.

However, Bolivian officials have denounced the "unfounded suspicions" and say Mr Snowden is not on board.

Foreign Minister David Choquehuanca told reporters that Portugal and France had abruptly cancelled air permits.

"They say it was due to technical issues, but after getting explanations from some authorities we found that there appeared to be some unfounded suspicions that Mr Snowden was on the plane," he added. "We don't know who invented this lie."
