Bill OReilly reports that Professor Ayers even called Chicago's "pigs" (police) to defend him from FOX News! And Chicago policemen showed up and walked Billy Ayers to his car for the rest of his groceries so the big bad Fox News reporter couldn't molest him. O'Reilly suggests that Senator Obama admit that he made a mistake and throw Bill Ayers under the bus like he did with Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Bill Ayers reportedly told an FBI informant named Larry Grathwohl that the the bomb that killed a San Francisco policeman named Brian McDonnell on 2-16-70 was placed on the window ledge of the Park Police Station by Bernardine Dohrn, who is now Bill Ayers' goulish wife.

Bill Ayers described the bomb that was used and even what kind of shrapnel was used in it. Larry Grathwohl reportedly testified in the Senate about this conversation on 10-18-74.

In his memoir Fugitive Days, Ayers makes a huge deal of the fact that his own birth "just missed" Jesus's birthday, Christmas. Read Ayers's twisted Christmas Day description his pregnant mother as a bomb about to explode. Ayers never mentions that his birthday is the same day as his spiritual father Mao's birthday, but the imagery in this passage suggests that this date has great symbolic significance for for the Maoist terrorist Ayers.

Dreams also suggests that there is a symbolic linkage between the narrator's absent father and the son's birthday. Obama describes receiving a phone call around his 21st birthday from a relative in Kenya who tells him that his father has been killed in a car accident. Linking the father's death with Obama's 21st birthday clearly suggests that this event was a rite of passage for Obama. But was it? The date of the father's death is never noted. We only learn that this death was near Obama's 21st birthday. The father's death is all about Obama. In the opening of both Dreams and Fugitive Days, the narrators detail phone calls announcing the violent death of a loved one.]

A blogger named Anne Leary describes her chance meeting on Monday, October 5, 2009, with Bill Ayers at Reagan Airport. She claims that Ayers stated that he wrote Obama's memoir Dreams from My Father:

Then, unprompted he said--I wrote Dreams From My Father. I said, oh, so you admit it. He said--Michelle asked me to. I looked at him. He seemed eager. He's about my height, short. He went on to say--and if you can prove it, we can split the royalties. So I said, stop pulling my leg. Horrible thought. But he came again--I really wrote it, the wording was similar. I said I believe you probably heavily edited it. He said--I wrote it. I said--why would I believe you, you're a liar.

He had no answer to that. Just looked at me. Then he turned and walked off, and said again his bit about my proving it and splitting the proceeds.

It would seem that the little Lord of Lake Forest Academy has morphed into something of a capitalist roader.

President Obama says he is "humbled" by being named as the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. If so, perhaps the President should dedicate his Peace Prize to the peace officer Brian McDonnell. After all, the suspected authors of Brian's murder are the President's terrorist friends, the Maoist Weathermen bombers Bernardine Dohrn and Bill Ayers. Ayers and Dohrn called policemen like Brian "pigs." Obama's mentors weren't (and aren't) for peace. They wanted the communists to win. Read their 1974 revolutionary manifesto Prairie Fire.

I remember when Weather made bombs and blew up Judge Murtagh's house on 2-21-70 as his children slept. Bernardine Dohrn took credit for bombing the judge, his wife, and children.

Jack Coler and Ronald Williams, the young FBI peace-keepers, were protecting Indians from criminals on Pine Ridge when they were murdered by the robber Peltier and his gang of criminals. Will our so-called "peacemaker" President Obama pardon this murderer of peacemakers?

UPDATE: FOX News reports that the President of the University of Nebraska has just cancelled a speaking engagement by one of the ringleaders of the bloody Weather Underground terrorists, Bill Ayers (above left). He had been invited by the head of the University's Education Department. I guess not all educators want to whitewash this terrorist.

Senator Obama once said that Bill Ayers was just a person who lived in his neighborhood. He said he was eight years old when the Weather Underground, led by Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn, were bombing Americans.

But Senator Obama and his attorney wife Michelle Obama were adults when they contributed to the rehabilitation of Bill Ayers by promoting his 1997 book on juvenile justice, A Kind and Just Parent: The Children of Juvenile Court.

In 2001 Bill Ayers published another book, Fugitive Days: A Memoir, in an effort to sanitize his bloody past. Max Noel, a retired FBI agent who read Fugitive Days and appeared on FOX News (10-17-08), observed that Ayers failed to mention his sojourn in San Francisco because Weather Underground members were suspected of a bombing at the Park Police Station that killed policeman Brian McDonnell and injured others.

Mr. Noel, who investigated the Weather Underground in San Francisco, said on FOX (10-17-08) that Bill Ayers' fingerprints were found in a San Francisco apartment when the Weather Underground bombers fled California. The apartment had bomb-making materials in it. Mr. Noel said that the investigators were disappointed that they did not find Bernardine Dohrn's fingerprints in that apartment. Professor Jesse Lemisch, the author of "Weather Underground Rises from the Ashes: They're Baack!" observed:

Veterans of Weather (as well as some fans) seem to be on a drive to rehabilitate, cleanse, and perhaps revive it -- not necessarily as a new organization, but rather as an ideological component of present and future movements. There have been signs of such a sanitization and romanticization for some time. A landmark in this rehabilitation is Bill Ayers, Fugitive Days: A Memoir (Beacon Press 2001; Penguin Books 2003).

Senator Obama and Mrs. Obama were fans of Bill Ayers. They promoted Ayers's book about the juvenile justice system, A Kind and Just Parent:The Children of Juvenile Court (1997), around the time that an investigation into the 1970 bombing murder of policeman Brian V. McDonnell was reopened in San Francisco.

One of the main suspects in the bombing was reportedly Bernardine Dohrn, and Bill Ayers knew all about the bombing according to an FBI informant named Larry Grathwohl.

San Francisco's KRON4 reported on 11-10-03:

Last fall [2002], according to law enforcement sources, San Francisco police turned over its evidence [in the Park Police Station Bombing] to the U.S. Attorney, who took over the investigation. The government quietly convened a federal grand jury which subpoenaed former members of not only the Weather Underground but the Black Panthers and the more militant Black Liberation Army, which investigators believe was responsible for the Ingleside shooting."--KRON4 (11-10-03)

As noted here, Senator Obama wrote a glowing review of Bill Ayers' 1997 book, A Kind and Just Parent: The Children of Juvenile Court.

David Tanenhaus, a young scholar who writes on juvenile criminal justice issues, just wrote an article in Slate (10-10-08) titled: "The Bill Ayers that Barack Obama and I worked with was no 'domestic terrorist.'"

Note that the title of the article confirms that Senator Obama "worked with Bill Ayers." They weren't just neighbors. And of course, Bill Ayers was a terrorist.

FBI informant Larry Grathwohl, who also "worked with Bill Ayers," writes:

[Bill Ayers] cited as one of the real problems [of bombings] that someone like Bernardine Dohrn had to plan, develop, and carry out the bombing of the police station in San Francisco, and he specifically named her as the person that committed that act. . . . He said that the bomb was placed on the window ledge and he described the kind of bomb that was used to the extent of saying what kind of shrapnel was used in it. . . . [I]f he wasn’t there to see it, somebody who was there told him about it, because he stated it very emphatically.

Young Tanenhaus reveals that Mrs. Michelle Obama even promoted Bill Ayers' book A Kind and Just Parent in the law school, giving the terrorist respectibility in the eyes of the legal community:

The publication in 1997 of Ayers' book A Kind and Just Parent: The Children of Juvenile Court attracted much local and national attention...That year, Chicago named Ayers its "Citizen of the Year." In November, Michelle Obama, who was then director of the university's community service center, convened a panel at the law school to discuss Ayers' book and the issues it raised.

Young Tanenhaus writes about criminal justice issues; yet he wants to let "bygones be bygones" when it comes to the criminals Ayers and Dohrn. Young Tanenhaus did so little research into Ayers and Dohrn that he doesn't even tell his Slate readers that Bernardine Dohrn and Ayers may be involved in the murder of the policeman Brian McDonnell.

The hypocritical Bill Ayers writes about children and justice, but the Weather Underground bombed a judge, his wife, and children. The judge was trying some Black Panthers.

Bill Ayers' vicious terrorist wife celebrated the grisly murders orchestrated by Charles Manson. One of the victims was even pregnant. Bernardine Dohrn gloated about the bloody crimes:

Dig it! First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them. They even shoved a fork into the victim's stomach! Wild!

Young Tanenhaus is a very dishonest researcher. I would call him a whitewasher, not a researcher. He doesn't care about justice for the law enforcement officials murdered and maimed by the Weather Underground. He doesn't care about the children bombed as they slept in their beds.

Young Tanenhaus is being used by Bill Ayers, a vicious, violent communist bully who was always a big user of people. The Weather Underground were terrorists. They had contact with communist intelligence services and some learned how to make bombs and use weapons in Cuba. They believed that their bombings could bring about a communist revolution.

Senator Obama didn't say anything when his minister claimed the U.S. government made AIDS to genocide blacks. Even the KGB admitted that they spread this lie in order to defame our government. As a result, young blacks who believe this lie see no reason to protect themselves from AIDS; they believe that the government is going to get them anyway. Now I see that Senator Obama and his wife allowed themselves to be used to whitewash the Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.

I would like to see a black person be elected President, but not someone who advances the agendas of anti-American propagandists and terrorists. Senator and Mrs. Obama keep saying that people like Wright and Ayers are a distraction from the issues. In fact, Senator Obama's associations are the issue for me because his actions gave respectability to radicals who have hurt many Americans.

Who Killed Brian V. McDonnell?

This a a photo of Brian V. McDonnell, a San Francisco policeman who was killed by shrapnel from a bomb set on a ledge at the San Francisco Police Department on February 16, 1970. Brian died of his injuries two days later on February 18. The San Francisco Police Officers Association remembers him in an article.

The New York Times (10-3-08) writes:

Most of the bombs the Weathermen were blamed for had been placed to do only property damage, a fact Mr. Ayers emphasizes in his memoir. But a 1970 pipe bomb in San Francisco attributed to the group killed one police officer and severely hurt another.

The New York Times doesn't mention that one of the potential suspects in this San Francisco pipe bomb murder is Bernardine Dohrn, Bill Ayers' wife. In about 2000, armed with new forensic techniques and help from state and federal authorities, the San Francisco Police Department reopened an investigation into this murder.

In turns out that the FBI had an informant inside the Weather organization named Larry Grathwohl. Author Cliff Kincaid (5-8-08) reports:

Larry Grathwohl, an FBI mole within the Weathermen, connected Ayers to the planning — and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, to the execution— of a police station bombing in San Francisco in February 1970 that killed one officer and injured two others. Grathwohl testified that Ayers had discussed the deadly incident after the fact. The revelation came as Ayers was talking about the organizational difficulties in running a terrorist cell:

"[H]e cited as one of the real problems that someone like Bernardine Dohrn had to plan, develop, and carry out the bombing of the police station in San Francisco, and he specifically named her as the person that committed that act. . . . He said that the bomb was placed on the window ledge and he described the kind of bomb that was used to the extent of saying what kind of shrapnel was used in it. . . . [I]f he wasn’t there to see it, somebody who was there told him about it, because he stated it very emphatically."

Grathwohl also testified about an unsuccessful Weatherman bombing in Detroit, which he said Ayers had planned to be executed when the maximum number of people would be present:

"The only time that I was ever instructed or we were ever instructed to place a bomb in a building at a time when there would be people in it was during the planning of the bombing at the Detroit Police Officers’ Association building and the 13th precinct in Detroit, Mich., at which time Bill said that we should plan our bombing to coincide with the time when there would be the most people in those buildings."

Grathwohl tipped off police to this latter plot, and they cleared the area. When they finally found the Detroit bomb, it was unexploded. It contained 13 sticks of dynamite with an M-80 firecracker to detonate them, along with a burnt-out cigarette.

Christopher C. Harmon, a fellow of the Claremont Institute, writes (1-14-04):

Larry Grathwohl ...[was]...Recruited into the Weathermen, who valued his limited military experience, the Cincinnati resident worked with Ayers. Grathwohl found Ayers hard to love; he seemed self-important, a controller of subordinates, the type who loved to give orders. Ayers was a key leader. Grathwohl, a government informant, wrote that Ayers had a helped direct a pair of attempted police building bombings in Detroit in February 1970. After doing his assigned job in reconnaissance, Grathwohl disagreed with Mr. Ayers over the placement of one bomb, which could easily kill black patrons who favored an adjacent restaurant, but that Ayers dismissed such sentimentality as unrevolutionary. The informant was glad to be dismissed from the operation by Ayers. Forty-four sticks of dynamite were then formed into two bombs and put into place, before Grathwohl's information allowed police to dismantle both.

In a bombing that took place on February 16, 1970, and that was credited to the Weathermen at the time,[25][26] a pipe bomb filled with heavy metal staples and lead bullet projectiles was set off on the ledge of a window at the Park Station of the San Francisco Police Department. In the blast, Brian V. McDonnell, a police sergeant, was fatally wounded while Robert Fogarty, another police officer, received severe wounds to his face and legs and was partially blinded.[27]
Weatherman leader Bernardine Dohrn has been suspected of involvement in the February 16, 1970, bombing of the Park Police Station in San Francisco. At the time, Dohrn was said to be living with a Weatherman cell in a houseboat in Sausalito, California, unnamed law enforcement sources later told KRON-TV.[28] An investigation into the case was reopened in 1999,[29] and a San Francisco grand jury looked into the incident, but no indictments followed,[28] and no one was ever arrested for the bombing.[29] An FBI informant, Larry Grathwohl, who successfully penetrated the organization from the late summer of 1969 until April 1970, later testified to a U.S. Senate subcommittee that Bill Ayers, then a high-ranking member of the organization and a member of its Central Committee (but not then Dohrn's husband), had said Dohrn constructed and planted the bomb. Grathwohl testified that Ayers had told him specifically where the bomb was placed (on a window ledge) and what kind of shrapnel was put in it. Grathwohl said Ayers was emphatic, leading Grathwohl to believe Ayers either was present at some point during the operation or had heard about it from someone who was there.[30] In a book about his experiences published in 1976, Grathwohl wrote that Ayers, who had recently attended a meeting of the group's Central Committee, said Dohrn had planned the operation, made the bomb and placed it herself.[31] In 2008, author David Freddoso commented that "Ayers and Dohrn escaped prosecution only because of government misconduct in collecting evidence against them".[30][32]

Old Domestic Terrorist Murder Investigations Reopened

On August 29, 1971, police sergeant John Young was shot to death when two men walk into the Ingleside police station in San Francisco and opened fire on Young as he sat behind a glass partition. On February 16, 1970, officer Brian McDonnell was injured when a bomb exploded at San Francisco's Park Police Station. He died from his injuries two days later.

In about 2000, the San Francisco Police Department secretly reopened an investigation into the murders of two police officers killed in the 1970s. The police were armed with new forensic technology and help from state and federal agencies.

They started as the Weathermen during the latter half of the turbulent '60s. As they became more militant, they changed their name to the Weather Underground. It was a homegrown guerilla movement against the war in Vietnam and injustices at home. Its objective was to wage an armed struggle against the government.

The Weather Underground battled police at anti-war rallies. Members even broke LSD guru Timothy Leary out of prison. They bombed at least two dozen buildings across the country, including the Capitol and the Pentagon. Their targets: military and government offices and police departments.

In the early '70s, some of of the group led by Bernardine Dorhn escaped to the west coast. Dohrn was on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted list. J. Edgar Hoover called her "the most dangerous woman in America."

For a time, according to law enforcement sources, Dohrn and her group lived in the Bay Area on a houseboat in Sausalito. Testimony before a federal grand jury in 1970 allegedly linked Dohrn to a February bombing attack of the Berkeley police department in which two officers were injured. And now, 30 years later, law enforcement sources tell KRON 4 News they believe Dohrn and members of the Weather Underground may have been responsible for the bombing of Park Police Station in San Francisco three days later, a bombing that killed officer Brian McDonnell. But police never had the evidence to prove it.

Dohrn remained a fugitive until 1980, when she and her husband Bill Ayers turned themselves in. Dohrn, who pleaded guilty to battery and jumping bail, was fined and placed on probation.

Last fall, according to law enforcement sources, San Francisco police turned over its evidence to the US attorney, who took over the investigation. The government quietly convened a federal grand jury which subpoenaed former members of not only the Weather Underground but the Black Panthers and the more militant Black Liberation Army, which investigators believe was responsible for the Ingleside shooting. Weather Underground Terrorist Bernardine Dohrn

This is Bill Ayers' wife Bernardine Dohrn in a 1969 mug shot. Ayers and Dohrn were top leaders of the Weather Underground terrorist bombers during the 60s and 70s.
Often the Weather Underground bombed police stations. They believed that their crimes would spark a communist revolution.

A lot of people think the Weathermen are gone, but an informative article by Jesse Lemisch, Professor Emeritus of History at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, suggests otherwise. In "Weather Underground Rises from the Ashes: They're Baack!" Professor Lemisch observes:

Veterans of Weather (as well as some fans) seem to be on a drive to rehabilitate, cleanse, and perhaps revive it -- not necessarily as a new organization, but rather as an ideological component of present and future movements. There have been signs of such a sanitization and romanticization for some time. A landmark in this rehabilitation is Bill Ayers, Fugitive Days: A Memoir (Beacon Press 2001; Penguin Books 2003).

Senator Obama has had a relationship with the Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.

They had a party for him when he was a young politician, and Senator Obama has worked with Bill Ayers on an educational reform project that actually channelled money to radicals such as the Maoist Mike Klonsky. This relationship has been detailed by a NRO reporter named Stanley Kurtz. [Search Kurtz, Klonsky, Ayers, CAC, Annenberg, on this blog.] The radicals did not improve the educational scores of Chicago's children; instead, the money was used for political indoctrination of children.

Senator Obama's supporters have criticized Governor Sarah Palin for hunting moose, but Weather Underground leader Bernardine Dorhn was involved in bombings during the 60s and 70s. Dohrn hunted policemen, but the New York Times (10-4-08) didn't mention Brian McDonnell's name, show his picture, or mention the fact that the investigation into his murder was repoened in about 2000.

When Charles Manson's gang murdered the movie star Sharon Tate and her friends, their names and pictures were in the papers; and their organization was reviled as a violent cult. The young Bernardine Dohrn even celebrated the brutal murders committed by Manson's gang.

The "War Council" ended with a formal declaration of war against "AmeriKKKa," always spelled with three K's to signify the United States' allegedly ineradicable white racism.

As I already noted here and here, Dohrn may have been involved in a bombing that killed a San Francisco policeman named Brian McDonnell.

If Senator Obama can't seem to understand that Ayers and Dohrn are domestic terrorists, how will he be able to protect us from terrorists?

National Police Week (May 10-16)

Former FBI informant Larry Grathwohl, who has testified under oath that Ayers told him that Bernardine Dohrn had planted that bomb, met with San Francisco Police homicide investigator Joe Engler on April 24 about the case.

On April 24, as I was waiting in the San Francisco Hall of Justice to cover a murder case involving members of the Black Liberation Army (BLA), a small group of BLA supporters was beginning to gather. Convicted lawyer Lynne Stewart greeted Ward Churchill, after the lanky and long-haired former Professor at the University of Colorado at Boulder strolled down the hallway. "Congratulations," she said, embracing him and referring to a jury verdict that he was wrongly fired. "Will you be reinstated?" Churchill answered, "It remains to be seen."

But why are these people coming out in support of accused cop-killers? It's a question worth answering, considering that May 10-16 is National Police Week and that Attorney General Eric Holder, who was involved in the Clinton pardons of members of two major terrorist groups, is speaking at the National Law Enforcement Memorial on Wednesday night. Holder will lead the lighting of candles and read the names of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.

The Holder pardons involved members of the Weather Underground and Puerto Rican FALN, groups which killed police officers and many others.

Stewart and Churchill were at the San Francisco hearing to show solidarity with Herman Bell and Anthony Bottom, members of the Black Liberation Army accused of killing San Francisco Police Sergeant John Young in 1971. One flashed a clenched fist to Stewart, Churchill and the others in the audience seated behind the defense table.

Already in prison for their role in the murder of two New York City police officers, Bell and Bottom are two members of the "San Francisco 8" alleged to be involved in numerous terrorist attacks on police and police facilities in the San Francisco area in the early 1970s.

Some of the evidence in the case is expected to come from Ruben Scott, a former BLA member with inside information about the group. The preliminary hearing in the case begins on June 8.

The BLA worked with the Weather Underground organization, and Ayers himself is under scrutiny for his alleged role in a 1970 bombing murder of San Francisco Police Sergeant Brian V. McDonnell at the Park Police Station near Golden Gate Park. Former FBI informant Larry Grathwohl, who has testified under oath that Ayers told him that Bernardine Dohrn had planted that bomb, met with San Francisco Police homicide investigator Joe Engler on April 24 about the case.

But before charges can be brought in the Park Police Station bombing case, some observers think that significant progress has to be made in the "San Francisco 8" case. And that will be a formidable challenge, considering that supporters of the terrorists such as Churchill, Stewart and others have mobilized on a national basis, have held protests outside the courtroom, and have even launched a website for the accused that is sponsored by a so-called "Committee for the Defense of Human Rights."

The San Francisco Labor Council, which is the local body of the AFL-CIO, has been enlisted in the campaign to sabotage a guilty verdict and issued a resolution calling for all of the charges against the BLA to be dropped. Labor Council executive director Tim Paulson has attended and spoken at anti-Iraq War demonstrations staged by the Act Now to Stop War and Racism (ANSWER) group, a front of the communist Workers World Party, and was the Labor Caucus Chair of the California Democratic Party at its recent state convention.

"The resolution offered by the SF Labor Council stretches truth and glamorizes Sergeant Young's slayers not as fugitive conspirators, but as heroes of the local oppressed," commented an outraged Gary Delagnes, president of the San Francisco Police Officers Association. "In actuality, they are thugs, murderers, and thieves; self-glorified members of the Black Liberation Army, a fringe organization whose sole purpose was to spread hateful and racist ideology through violence, urban terrorism, and death."

It is clear that the far-left campaign, which specifically urges Brown to drop the charges, is designed to poison the jury pool, so that one or more members of the jury will consider the BLA to be a civil rights organization that was subjected to unwarranted investigations and government misconduct.

Going After Ayers and Dohrn

But if law enforcement authorities can convict the BLA in the Young case, can they also get Ayers and Dohrn-and perhaps other members of the Weather Underground or the BLA-in the Park Police Station bombing case?

Interestingly, a key individual involved in the murder of Sgt. Young was Marilyn Buck, active in both the Weather Underground and the BLA. Buck, serving time at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California, for her convictions in other terrorist acts, cased the Ingleside police station before the BLA attacked it.

All of these individuals, in turn, are linked to another cop-killing.

One of Buck's terrorist convictions involved the 1979 escape from prison in New Jersey of Assata Shakur, convicted of killing New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster. Shakur fled to Cuba and received political asylum from the Castro government and continues to live in Cuba. The attack on Foerster also took the life in a gun battle of Shakur's terrorist associate, Zayd Shakur.

Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn named one of their children after Zayd Shakur. He goes under the name of "Zayd Dohrn" and is a playwright.

Cuba Hosts Cop-Killer

As President Obama moves toward normalization of relations with Castro's Cuba, the communist regime's protection of the terrorist could become a major problem.

Democratic Senator Robert Menendez, who was born in the United States to parents who emigrated from Cuba, gave a major speech on March 2 on the Senate floor warning against recognizing and working with the Castro regime. "Some suggest that there be cooperation with Cuba on narcotics trafficking," he said. "Well, let them hand over the 200 fugitives from the United States that the FBI knows are in Cuba, including Joanne Chesimard, the convicted killer of New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster. Let her come back to the United States and face justice. There are 200 of them."

New Jersey State Senator Sean T. Kean agrees, and has written an April 17 letter to Obama demanding that Chesimard be returned to the U.S.

"I am sure you would agree that this murderer of a dedicated law enforcement officer should be made to face the consequences for her cowardly actions that took the life of this brave man," Kean declared. "Further, by aiding and abetting this cold-blooded killer, Cuba has insulted our State Police and all members of the law enforcement community. As such, for the United States to enter into normal relations with Cuba without requiring Chesimard's extradition sends the message to the world that we are not committed to pursuing just ice for a police officer who was savagely gunned down in the line of duty."

The FBI is currently offering a $1 million reward for information directly leading to her apprehension.

What Is the Extent of Senator Obama's Relationship with Weather Underground Bombers Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn?

I have posted a series of articles detailing the research done by Stanley Kurtz [search] into Senator Obama's funding of radical educators. According to Kurtz, the money went to indoctrinate rather than educate Chicago's children.

Zombietime has just published an article titled "Barack Obama's Close Encounter with the Weather Underground" (10-27-08).

Jack Cashill has published an article titled "Science Points to Ayers Authorship of Obama's Dreams" (10-29-08). This article is the latest in a series of articles that make the case that Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers ghostwrote Senator Obama's memoir Dreams from My Father (1995).

Youtube has posted an interview with Larry Grathwohl, who infiltrated the Weather Underground. He describes the Weather Underground's plan to set up reeducation camps in the American Southwest and to eliminate 25 million people who refused to be reeducated. The interview appeared in the 1982 documentary No Place to Hide.

Larry Grathwohl, an FBI informant who infiltrated the terrorist Weather Underground Organization (WUO) in the late 1960s, published a book (as told to Frank Reagan) called Bringing Down America (1976). This book was published a year after Grathwohl testified about the WUO in the Senate on 10-18-74.

FOX News has just aired an interview with Larry Grathwohl (10-29-08). Grathwohl describes bombing plots hatched by Bill Ayers. Ayers wanted nails put in the bombs so they would kill more people. Grathwohl also claims that Bernardine Dorhn and Bill Ayers were involved in the 1970 bombing that killed a San Francisco policeman named Brian McDonnell.

Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn authored the communist revolutionary manifesto Praire Fire (1974) while they were underground.

Senator Obama Extolls Terrorist Bill Ayers' Book

Newsmax (10-14-08) explains that Bill Ayers escaped punishment for his crimes because "the FBI used so-called national security wiretaps that could not be used legally in criminal cases." Of course, the Weather Underground terrorists did cooperate with communist intelligence agenceis and some learned how to handle weapons and make bombs in Cuba.

Bill Ayers himself has bragged about his crimes:

Weather Underground collaborated with communist intelligence services. They weren't just domestic terrorists.

Some educators support the communist terrorist Bill Ayers. These people are educating our children, but they excuse a man who was a leader of a terrorist organization that bombed a judge, his wife, and his children while the family were asleep in their beds.

Senator Obama has dismissed people's concerns about his relationship with the Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers by claiming that Ayers just was a guy who lived in his neighborhood. If Senator Obama was just Bill Ayers' neighbor, then why did he write a glowing review of Bill Ayers' 1997 book A Kind And Just Parent: The Children Of Juvenile Court?

Senator Obama described the terrorist's book as "a searing and timely account of the juvenile court system, and the courageous individuals who rescue hope from despair." (Chicago Tribune, 12/21/97 as cited on an official RNC site ).

Ronald Radosh (see his official site and articles), a former leftist who underwent a change of conscience, has an article in The New York Post titled "A Revolutionary's 'Education' Advice" (1-9-08):

THE Obama campaign hotly denies the McCain camp's charges that Barack Obama has long ties to Bill Ayers, the 1960s Weather Underground terrorist. I'll leave it to others to discuss most aspects of the relationship - and focus on one damning admission made in Obama's defense.

While denying any other meaningful link between the two, the Obama campaign says that Obama has long respected Ayers' work on education; many press accounts refer to him as a "school reformer." Problem is, those "school reforms" boil down to propagandizing for the very ideas that led Ayers to blow up buildings decades ago.

The Obama defense cites the likes of Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, who told The New York Times that Ayers (now a University of Illinois professor) is an educator who has "done a lot of good in this city and nationally." Thus, if Obama sought Ayers' expertise on his chosen field of childhood education, it was hardly anything to be wary of.

But, as Stanley Kurtz and Sol Stern have pointed out, Obama helped deliver thousands of dollars to fund Ayers' education projects in the Chicago Annenberg Challenge - whose purpose, says Kurtz, is to infuse students "with a radical political commitment."

Ayers makes this very clear in all his writings. K-12 teachers, he has written, must teach "for social justice and liberation" - making classrooms into centers for creating revolutionary change.

Time has only hardened Ayers' views. Consider an interview he gave two years ago to "Revolution," a magazine published by The Revolutionary Communist Party, USA, a self-described "Marxist, Leninist, Maoist" group.

There, Ayers argues that education can't be separated from "the concept of politics and political change." Urban schools are now merely preparing students "for prison, for unemployment and for war."

So, to create a genuine "progressive" education for our children, teachers must work to overturn the repressive, racist and imperialist system that governs the United States; it is imperative to fight "the most reactionary cabal of ideologues" that control the federal government and the media.

Even if the Republicans lose the White House in in 2008, Ayers notes, the ruling class will remain irritated by education - which he proudly proclaims the one area they don't control. To keep it that way, he calls for fighting to stop proposals such as those favoring charter schools and vouchers. (Ayers doesn't seem to realize, or care, that such reforms gain access to good education for precisely the poor whose interests he claims to represents.)

In the interview, Ayers also makes a point of declaring solidarity identifying with perhaps the biggest charlatan in modern American academia - Ward Churchill, who was finally removed from his University of Colorado professorship by the school's president for academic misconduct, including false use of sources, plagiarism and the most extreme politicization of the curriculum conceivable.

As Ayers sees it, Churchill was simply challenging students "with ideas they've never seen before," and with encouraging students "to question things."

In fact, Churchill won his notoriety by saying that the Americans killed in the 9/11 attacks were "busy braying, incessantly and self-importantly, into their cellphones, arranging power lunches and stock transactions, each of which translated, conveniently out of sight, mind and smelling distance, into the starved and rotting flesh of infants.

"If there was a better, more effective, or in fact any other way of visiting some penalty befitting their participation upon the little Eichmanns inhabiting the sterile sanctuary of the twin towers, I'd really be interested in hearing about it."

To Ayers, Churchill was simply "being pilloried . . . for being a leftist, for being a critic of US imperialism."
Consider also Ayers' 1997 book on juvenile justice, which Obama praised in a review as a "searing and timely account" of the issue. Yet, Ayers argued against the very existence of prisons in the United States, compared our country and its incarceration system to apartheid in South Africa and called for drastically softer sentences for juveline murderers. In a panel on the book Obama later even agreed with Ayers that the system is an "industrial-prison complex."

Ayers' policies when Obama worked with him were those of the revolutionary left; his views remain the same today. He refers to himself and his comrades as "revolutionaries" who have to "stand up" and fight for revolution. This is a "school reformer" Barack Obama respects?

Canada Refuses Weather Underground Bomber William Ayers Entry! [UPDATE: Says Billy Ayers!]

The Weather Underground terrorist-bomber and University of Illinios at Chicago Professor of Education Bill Ayers [scroll down to read all posts, especially about the bombing murder of Brian McDonnell] was refused entry into Toronto, Canada on Saturday night (1-17-09) because Canadian border security reportedly considered him a security risk. I wonder why Canada is refusing Ayers entry just before the inauguation of Mr. Barack Obama? Maybe they know something we don't know.

Ayers, who has a sense of humor, reportedly complained to Canada's Globe and Mail newspaper that he "has travelled to Canada more than a dozen times in the past," but he's not doing that anymore! Finally, change I can believe in!

It's interesting that this is happening right before the inauguration, because the writer Dr. Jack Cashill believes that Bill Ayers ghostwrote parts of President-Elect Obama's biography Dreams From My Father.

Even though I don't like to believe this accusation is true, I think Dr. Cashill has a point because---like Bill Ayers---I have read Obama's "brilliant" book Dreams from My Father. The tone, style, imagery, diction, descriptions, and incidents in this book do echo Ayers' dishonest but well-written book Fugitive Days.

Bill Ayers mocked Dr. Cashill's theory as "paranoid" but did not flatly deny that he had a hand in the book's creation. I wonder if our incoming President will flatly either admit or deny that he had help with his autobiography from the infamous communist bomber Bill Ayers. If its true, he should come clean right away and explain what's going on. I certainly understand how the charming sociopath Bill Ayers manipulates people.

Jeffrey Kugler, the executive director for the Center for Urban Schooling at the University of Toronto, said Ayers was deemed not admissible after being pulled aside by Canadian immigration officials while trying to clear customs at the Toronto airport.

Ayers had been invited to speak before the center. He was also scheduled to meet with the Toronto District School Board and do interviews with Canadian television and radio stations, Kugler said...

Canadian Media Cites Bill Ayers' Own Admissions That His Troubles with Canadian Border Security Are a Common Occurrence [UPDATE: But Are They?]

UPDATE: I think it is possible that the terrorist drama queen Billy Ayers just claims he has problems at the Canadian border. We only have Billy's word that he was refused entry into Canada.

Earlier today I posted an article about how the Weather Underground terrorist Billy Ayers was refused entry into Toronto, Canada on Saturday, January 17, 2009. Billy told the mainstream media that he had been to Canada a dozen times and didn't know why he had been refused entry. He claimed the Canadians had information that he was convicted of a 1969 felony. Now turns out that Billy's own Internet post claims that he has often had problems when entering Canada.

Probably the self-absorbed, melodramatic Billy was just making a fuss this time so he could bask in the reflected limelight of Obama's inauguration. Typically, when Billy has had difficulties at the Canadian border, it hasn't been a mainstream media story; and Billy has been reduced to grandstanding about his "martydom" on a pathetic little Internet site/blog.

According to Billy's 2005 post he claims that he always has problems entering Canada. He claims he was previously refused entry in 2005 because the Canadians have false information that he was convicted of "assault with a deadly weapon," a felony, in 1969. Of course, we don't really know what is true. We just know Billy lies. It would be good if the newspapers asked the Canadian government for their side of the story. Billy may be making up a lot.

He took his seat in the booth, looked up at me, and added, "What's Students for a Democratic Society?"

I explained that SDS was a student group devoted to peace and participatory democracy. "Are you still a member?" he asked, and, having never technically resigned, I replied that I was.

"You have quite an arrest record," he went on, and I explained that, yes, I did, but every arrest was linked to a political demonstration, and that all of my encounters resulted merely in misdemeanors like "disturbing the peace" or "mob action," vague charges designed to cover a multitude of affirmative acts or sins as the case may be. "Almost all," he corrected. "There's a conviction here in 1969 for assault with a deadly weapon -- a felony."

It couldn't be true, I said. I don't have any felony convictions whatsoever, in 1969 or any other time. "My records say otherwise," he said. It’s a mistake, I replied. He consulted a large book of regulations and said, "That conviction would bring a ten-year prison term in Canada. I can’t admit you."

If you compare what Billy told the media after he was refused entry to Canada on Saturday with what he has written on the Internet, it is easy to see that Billy is a pathological liar and a publicity hound. He may also be a dangerous person.

The Weather Underground is suspected in bombings that caused injuries and deaths. The names of Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn came up during the reopened investigation into the 1970 bombing that killed Brian McDonnell and blinded another policeman. Dohrn seems to have been complicit in the 1981 robbery of a Brinks truck near New York City. A security guard and two policemen died that day.

William Ayers, a distinguished education professor from the University of Illinois at Chicago, said he was perplexed and disappointed when the Canada Border Services Agency declared him inadmissible at the Toronto City Centre Airport on Sunday evening.
He said he has travelled to Canada more than a dozen times in the past.

“It seems very arbitrary,” he said. “The border agent said I had a conviction for a felony from 1969. I have several arrests for misdemeanours, but not for felonies.”

According to the Canadian Immigration and Citizenship website, a decision to keep Ayers out of Canada would not have been made arbitrarily,

“Some people are inadmissible—they are not allowed to come to Canada. Several things can make you inadmissible, including involvement in criminal activity, in human rights violations or in organized crime. You can also be inadmissible for security, health or financial reasons.”

Just in case you’re wondering about the sort of criminal activity Ayers has been involved with, look no further than a New York Times piece coincidentally published on September 11th 2001,

”I don’t regret setting bombs,” Bill Ayers said. ”I feel we didn’t do enough.” Mr. Ayers, who spent the 1970’s as a fugitive in the Weather Underground, was sitting in the kitchen of his big turn-of-the-19th-century stone house in the Hyde Park district of Chicago. The long curly locks in his Wanted poster are shorn, though he wears earrings. He still has tattooed on his neck the rainbow-and-lightning Weathermen logo that appeared on letters taking responsibility for bombings.

In his book Fugitive Days, Ayers writes about bombings he participated in which included the US Capitol Building and the Pentagon. So, now that we have reviewed a partial record of criminal activity of Mr. Ayers, why would he be so “perplexed” at CBSA’s refusal to admit him to Canada. In fact, in a blog posting by Ayers, the former leader of the Weather Underground writes of a similar experience with Canadian border service officials when he was previously denied entry to Canada,

[The CBSA official] handed me a form called “Allowed to Leave Canada” and asked me to sign under, “I hereby voluntarily withdraw my application to enter Canada. . . .” I, of course, refused.

After an hour in a holding area, he fetched me and escorted me back through security and US customs, where agents from both sides of the border shared a collegial laugh. As we made our way to the next plane to the US, officer 1767 assured me: “I’m not denying entry into Canada on the basis of your membership in Students for a Democratic Society.” I thought of the chorus from Leonard Cohen’s “The Patriot”: “Ah the wind, the wind is blowing.”

I was first on the plane, seen to my seat by my escort, and my passport returned. The times they are a’changing

Ayers’ trouble with CBSA officials seems to be a common occurrence according to his blog post,

“This has become a common-place for me whenever I travel to Canada — I’m always diverted and delayed, always questioned about my anticipated length of stay and the nature of my business, always double-checked. Whenever I’ve asked why I’m being subjected to this special treatment, the reply has always been the same: ‘Just a routine check.’”

Note that this rejected entry into Canada that he describes in his blog post happened in 1995, long before Barack Obama had been suggested to have links with Ayers, long before Obama’s political campaign and long before GOP VP nominee Sarah Palin suggested that Ayers was a “terrorist”. Therefore, this accusation by the man who arranged for Ayers to come to Canada today is moot,

Jeffrey Kugler, executive director of the Centre for Urban Schooling, is deeply disappointed in the turn of events. For him it’s a question of academic freedom. “It’s kind of ironic the day before Barack Obama is going to become president this is what the Canadian border security has done,” said Kugler. “It seems ridiculous that one university can’t have a professor from another university to come and give a lecture on an important educational topic.”

In a CBC interview today on As It Happens, Ayers was interviewed and he was unapologetic for his “illegal actions” during his time in the Weather Underground and to this day calls his acts “appropriate”.

What were his “appropriate” acts? In his own words,

“The Weather Underground went on to take responsibility for placing several small bombs in empty offices — the ones at the Pentagon and the United States Capitol were the most notorious — as an illegal and unpopular war consumed the nation.

The Weather Underground crossed lines of legality, of propriety and perhaps even of common sense. Our effectiveness can be — and still is being — debated. We did carry out symbolic acts of extreme vandalism directed at monuments to war and racism, and the attacks on property, never on people, were meant to respect human life and convey outrage and determination to end the Vietnam war.”

Seems fairly clear, doesn’t it? Though Ayers was never convicted of any crime, he has admitted to having committed criminal activity. The CBSA has previously denied Ayers. However, if you see this as open and shut, you don’t share the bizarre logic of the NDP. Here is Olivia Chow’s press release on today’s events,

New Democrat Citizenship and Immigration Critic Olivia Chow calls on the Minister of Immigration and Minister of Public Safety to allow educational theorist, Bill Ayers entry into Canada.

Bill Ayers was denied entry into Canada Monday where he was scheduled to speak on education reform at the University of Toronto.

“Canada must respect academic freedom and allow Bill Ayers to share his insights on reforming our education system” said Olivia Chow. “At-risk children deserve policies that produce equality in academic outcomes and deserve to gain high academic achievements. The decision to ban Bill Ayers must be reversed.”

When Bill Ayers became a household name during the last election and after his criminal acts were described to the American electorate, Barack Obama wouldn’t touch the man with a ten foot pole. Now, the NDP goes out of their way to speak out against the Canadian rule of law barring the admittance of a self-declared domestic terrorist.
